2020 WNY Queens Results

Kristina Szczerbinski, a former winner and last year's runner-up, won the Division 1 championship Sunday January 26th in the Western New York Queens Bowling Tournament at Rapids Lanes in Niagara Falls.

Szczerbinski defeated Retha Kimbrew, 198-183 in the championship match for bowlers with 200 averages or higher after Kimbrew, the No. 5 qualifier, defeated LaRhonda Howard, Morgan Walsh and Marion Singleton on her way up the stepladder.

Mary Grace Williamson, the fifth qualifier, won three matches then defeated top qualifier Alicia Poole, 162-157 in Division 2 (180-199 averages).

Maitland Langworthy had to win a rolloff to gain the No. 1 seed over Marissa Ciliberto then won the Division 3 (179 averages or less) final, 186-178 over Stephanie Wright. Langworthy struck out in the 10th to win.

Taylor Just led the qualifying with a 756 for four games then defeated Angel Hoy, 176-127 for the Youth Division-1 title. Cheyenne Staker led the Youth Division 2 field with 674. Staker held off Raeann Armbruster who made her way up the stepladder. Staker over Armbruster 150-139 for the title.
